WHY PANAMA?
Universal located its manufacturing facility in Panama because of the ideal location and the ease of doing business there. Products from Panama are exempt from the Section 201 trade tariffs affecting Asian modules. And the U.S. has a long-standing Free Trade Agreement with Panama, which facilitates imports and exports and addresses labor and environmental protections.

From Colón in Panama, we can reach any North American or South American port within 5-7 days.
An order from Asia takes a minimum of 90 days to reach the U.S. Universal’s time frame is 30 days. We will cut delivery time by two-thirds.
